When The Son of Man Appears Before the Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:13-14)

Paul MacDonald RN MA Dipl

We suggest that this Son of Man, who’ll be an offshoot of David (Isaih 11:1), is NOT already sitting at God’s right hand as many teach. This is still future, but it won’t be a literal sitting at God’s right hand.

Firstly, God share his Glory with no one (Isaiah 42:8), so there’s no one sitting silently at his right hand now. He’s a God that does all things alone, there was no one before him, with him, or will be after him ever (Isaiah 44:24).

This being at the right of God, is like when Moses saw God face to face, but here upon the Earth (Exodus 33:11). This son of man (the Prince) will also eat bread before God’s face in the Messianic Temple (Ezekiel 44:3). Because one appears before God, it doesn’t actually mean it’ll be a physical one. When one meets to worship God, he/they are appearing before God.

This Son of Man, AFTER being brought before the Ancient (Yahweh) of Days, is when he becomes God’s son (Psalms 2:7), and he is given the Nation’s to rule over, over which will be eternal (Daniel 7:14).

His Kingdom will crush other Kingdoms (Daniel 7:23b, 27-28), when he is ruling and taking over his enemies (Psalm 110:2), when God has set and placed him upon Mount Zion in Jerusalem (Psalms 2:6).

This Son of Man will be protected (Psalms 91) as he will be given the power to go forth and rebuild (Isaiah 51:16), God will be at his right hand when doing this (Psalms 110:5).

This being at God’s right hand is NOT literal, it’s symbolic of the elevated place this one is going to be given, a very high place, but here upon the earth (Psalms 110:1 and Isaiah 53:12).

He’ll come into his Temple to carry out the role of Purifier of his people (Malachi 3:3). The coming into his Temple riding on a donkey is still future, it’ll be AFTER the 2300 evenings and mornings have been completed, some 3 years AFTER the days of the Great Tribulation Period have been completed (Zechariah 9:9 and (Daniel 8:13-14).

He will teach the King’s and Nations things they didn’t know, and they be astounded by him (Isaiah 52:15).

He will become a son to God, and God will become a ther father to him (Isaiah 42:1), but only on the day he is brought before God. He is the offshoot of David that’ll biuld the Temple of God, and the one who is set to rule (2 Samuel 7:10-14).

He’ll be the wonderful counselor, the warrior King, and the father of the eternal ages that are still to come (Isaiah 9:6).

This Son of Man is still to come, he is the Messiah and Suffering Servant that’ll be cut off for the sins of israel prior to the days of the Great Tribulation Period beginning (Daniel 9:26 and Isaiah 53).

These Events Are All Still Very Much in the Future

This hasn’t hai yet, it’s all still future. The finishing off of guilt, sin and transgression are still future (Daniel 9:24).

This happens before the Assyrian enters Israel to trample on it, to destroy it and it’s Temple, when the evil of the North will befall Israel (Daniel 9:24, 26, 11:30, Jeremiah 6:1 and Micah 5:5).

None of these events have happened yet, they are all still future. The Messiah appears near the End Time to atone for the sin of his people.

When he has become King, this coincides with the destruction of the Assyrian (Daniel 7:11), and Israel returns to Israel (Jeremiah 29:19-14) and the New Covenant has been inaugurated with Israel (Jeremiah 31:31-34).

The Real Facts Concerning the Yet to Come Hebrew Messiah

Paul MacDonald RN MA Dipl

With regards the Gospels, all written 40-60 years after the man called Jesus. Comparing these to the Prophets, the Prophets were written as Prophets were speaking of them and as events were unfolding. They weren’t written decades after the events.

The Gospels not written by the so called Apostles, but others, in John alone there are 3 different layers. The Apostles were already dead and gone when these Gospels (so called) were written.

Remember, these scripts (so called) were added Nd made canon by Rome.

The End Time Hebrew Messiah

The Prophecies regarding the real Hebrew Messiah are all end time, and all begin towards the end of age.

There’s not any 1st coming and then a break of 1000s of years until some other coming in the future. It sounds very like the convoluted Pre, Mid and Post Trib nonsense, that’ll also not happen.

Some Non Messianic Hebrew Texts

Isaiah 7:14 is not Messianic, it was a sign for Ahaz of House of David only. Calling my son out of Egypt is also not Messianic, it’s a history of Israel, and how they behaved, and ther Punishment right up until the final still future redemption.

The Messiah, King and Priest Called David

The Messiah isn’t called Jesus. He’s called David in many passages, and what’s more, he’ll have a wife and many children (read Psalm 45). He is of David and will be called David. The sitting at God’s right hand isn’t in heaven, it’s the exalted throne that’ll be on earth. Being at the right hand is an afforded place of special protection (Isaiah 52 and Psalms 91).

Messiah Appears at Future 62nd Week

The Messiah appears at the beginning of the future yet to come 62nd Week, and he’ll be cut off, AFTER the 62 Weeks (434 days) are over. The work of the Messiah will be about 15 months in duration.

Yes, he’ll be born in Bethlehem, but in the future..

Personally, I don’t read these Greek Texts anymore, many scholars also find them dubious. I only read the Hebrew Texts. The Greek texts give the impression of God’s word being altered, and also the commandments

Messiahs Appearing Before God

If the son of the man (the Messiah) will be brought before God before being given the Kingdom, how can he be a mediator and also sitting at God’s right hand?

Being brought before God could be in God’s Temple, brought before the presence of God, in the Temple where he’ll eat bread before the face of God.

God of the Heavens All Alone

Remember, that God shares his glory with no one. He’s all alone with no one before him, with him or after him. The Messiah isn’t ultimate ruler, God is. The Messiah rules by proxy

Summary and Conclusion

The Hebrew texts state that the coming of the Messiah is an end of age affair, and that he is saving his people Israel only. The resurrection is for the whole house of Israel only. Daniel confirms that from the multitudes in the grave only a few will rise, some to glory and some to shame.

This is my view only, and because of the promises in the Hebrew Texts, and countless flaws in the Christian (so called) Texts, I’ve changed my view and perspective on what has been commonly taught and accepted in the mainstream.

Ezekiel’s Vision of the Messianic Temple

David The Messianic Prince (Ezekiel 44:3)

Dr Paul MacDonald RN MA Dipl

The Prince Offers Sin Offerings for Himself

The Messianic Prince here will be called David. You will see in these last four chapters that there are OBVIOUS reasons why this “Prince” is not a reference for any Person called Jesus. For starters, this “Prince” makes a sin offering for himself in (Ezekiel 45:22).

If the “Prince” were the person called Jesus, then the Messianic Prince would need NO cleansing from sin, for we know that Christ is sinless. There’s no evidence to prove the Prince is sinless or that he’d have God as his literal father.

The Prince Will Have Many Sons

Then, in Ezekiel 46:16, we see that the Prince will have many “sons” to whom the Prince may pass on an inheritance. This is also mentioned in the Psalms (Psalms 45:1-18).

Who is the Prince?

“So, who’s the Prince?”. Ezekiel tells us earlier that it will be a person called David. (See Ezekiel 34:23-24, and then Ezekiel 37:24-25), there he is again David.

The Coming Messianic King David

You’ll see in the following chapters that this Prince is entirely human, he is called David.

There are many scholars hold to the notion that the mention of David as a Messianic leader is actually a reference to a descendant of David, which these texts highlight.

Apparently Ezekiel’s prophecy envisioned a descendant of David as a civil leader under the authority of God.

Most commentators gloss over the clear references to David, and these issues that are raised here regarding the “Prince” and pay the subject little attention.

Consider the following passages of scripture describing the rule of the Prince called David during the Messianic Reign:

(Hosea 3:5)

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek Yahweh their God, and David their king; and shall fear Yahweh and his goodness in the latter days.

(Jeremiah 30:9)

They shall serve Yahweh their God, and David their king, whom I will RAISE UP (resurrect) unto them.

(Ezekiel 34:23-24)

And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. And I Yahweh will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I Yahweh have spoken it.

(Ezekiel 37:24-25)

And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their PRINCE FOREVER.

(Ezekiel 44:3)

He’ll eat bread before face of God in the Messianic Temple.

The Messianic Prince Called David

Paul MacDonald RN MA Dipl

As we’ve discovered, Messiah the Prince who’ll lay his life down willingly, is an End Time event, as detailed in the 70 Weeks of 490 Days (Daniel 9:24-27).

We’ve further reason to believe that this person will also be called David, and that he’ll be married, and have many sons.

David The Messianic Prince

In The Messianic Kingdom, someone called David will be a Prince.

It is mentioned several times in prophecy. While David is mentioned as being King and Prince, he is only a Prince in comparison to the King of Kings.

The Israelite’s will serve Yehovah the King and David will be raised up for their sake.

“And I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd. And I, Yehovah, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. I am Yehovah; I have spoken” (Jeremiah 30:9).

“Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek Yehovah their God, and David their king; and shall fear Yehovah and his goodness in the latter days” (Hosea 3:5).

And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant DAVID shall be their PRINCE FOREVER (Ezekiel 37:24-25).

Yehovah Will Rescue His Flock

Yehovah promises that He will rescue His flock Israel and judge between the sheep (Ezekiel 34:22). David will be installed as the shepherd who will feed Israel spiritually (v. 23).

David Will Be a Prince Over Israel (Israel and Judah)

While David is to be the prince over Israel, he is still a subject of the lord Jesus (v. 24). This may be why David is spoken of as a prince in some passages but as a king in others. David will be a king relative to Israel but only a prince when compared to the King of kings.

David Both King and Prince

In Ezekiel 37:24-25, David is referred to as being both a king and a prince in the same narrative. The use of both titles hints at David’s status as the head of Israel while he serves under the Sovereign of the entire earth.

David’s Duties as The Prince

Prince David’s duties will include collecting and then presenting sacrifices on behalf of the people of Israel (Ezekiel 45:16-17; 46:4-12).

He will eat from these sacrificial meals before the Lord Jesus in the hallowed outer east gate of the temple (Ezekiel 44:1-3; 46:12).

David will enjoy the privilege of overseeing the observance of the Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles.

On Passover the prince will provide for the people and himself a bull for a sin offering. He shall present various other offerings during the seven days of Passover and the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles (Ezekiel 45:22-25).

The Messiah, His Queen and Their Sons

The Messiah in this text will have any sons (Ezekiel 46:16). This is also mentioned in the Psalms (Psalms 45:1-18). He’ll have a wife, a Queen, and they’ll have many sons.

The Prince mentioned in Ezekiel chapters 44-46, while distinct from King David of old, the Prince called David mentioned in Ezekiel chapters 34 and 37, is identified as the Messianic called David.

The Son of David (The Branch)

This is the son of David, from line of David, who will biuld the Temple of God and rule over the people for eternity (2 Samuel 7:10-14).

David The Prince Set to Occupy High Office

The Messiah in many texts is still to fulfill many of these prophecies, this David is set to occupy a high office.

It is perfectly in keeping with the overall thrust of Scripture that a person called David would be given much responsibility in the Messianic Kingdom.

Other Patriarchs and Princes in the Kingdom

Other Princes will be resurrected, and they will rule the Universe (Psalms 45:16 and Isaiah 32).

David and the Jewish Patriarchs are coming back (Isaiah 32)

Wenn der Menschensohn vor dem Alter der Tage Erscheint (Daniel 7: 13-14)

Paul MacDonald RN MA Dipl ©
